WELCOME
A Message from the President

Jennifer J. Edwards
FSASE President

On behalf of the Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections (FSASE) members, welcome! This Web site is a tool for both the Association’s membership and Florida voters and residents. It contains information about the organization, as well as links to the Florida Division of Elections, Election Assistance Commission, Federal Voting Assistance and your local Supervisors of Elections Web sites.

As you know, 2008 is a very exciting election year. For the first time since the 1950’s, an incumbent or sitting vice president is not running for the office of the President. In Florida, the Governor and Florida Legislature has mandated that the 15 counties that were using touch-screen voting machines must return to paper ballots to improve voter confidence. These 15 counties are the home of more than half the voters in the state.

As an association, some of our goals include supporting each other, sharing successful practices and educating Florida voters.

Your individual county Supervisors of Elections contact information is available on this site. If you have any questions regarding the voting system in your county or other election-related issues, please contact your local Election Office. As election administrators, we are very proud of our profession and our very serious responsibility. We manage our offices in a transparent manner and welcome public interest.
